Installation

Installing the Altius Appointment Scheduler is quick and easy. You'll be accepting appointments in just a few minutes!

Download Plugin

Download altius-scheduler-v3.5.1.zip from your purchase confirmation email.

Upload to WordPress

Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Select your ZIP file and click Install Now.

Activate Plugin

Once installed, click Activate Plugin. You'll see "Altius Scheduler" appear in your WordPress sidebar.

Start Setup

Add your staff members, configure settings, and add the booking form to a page. You're ready!

Quick Start Guide

1. Add Staff Members

Navigate to Altius Scheduler → Staff and add your team members:

  • Name: Full name (e.g., "Dr. Sarah Johnson")
  • Email: Where they'll receive appointment notifications
  • Department: Their specialty or role (optional but helpful)
  • Is Active: Check to make them available for bookings

⚠️ Important for SuiteCRM Integration

If you plan to use the SuiteCRM Bridge plugin, staff email addresses MUST match SuiteCRM user email addresses exactly. This enables automatic staff mapping and conflict detection across all your sites.

2. Configure Settings

Go to Altius Scheduler → Settings to configure:

  • Business Hours: When appointments can be scheduled (default: 9 AM - 5 PM)
  • Booking Window: How far in advance clients can book (7-90 days)
  • Appointment Types: Customize meeting types - add, remove, or rename to match your business
  • Email Settings: Customize your confirmation email message

3. Add Booking Form to Your Website

Create a new page (or edit an existing one) and add this shortcode:

Publish the page and your booking form is live!

Q: Can I add payment links to confirmation emails?

Yes! Use the Link button in the email editor to add clickable links to Stripe, PayPal, or any payment processor.

Q: How does multi-site conflict detection work?

With the Bridge plugin, all WordPress sites sync to one central SuiteCRM. When someone tries to book a time that's already taken on another site, the Bridge checks SuiteCRM and blocks the booking. Requires Bridge plugin ($149 add-on).
