Is it really free?
Yes. The free version is the complete booking system, for appointments and rentals, with unlimited staff. There are no subscriptions and no per-user fees. Pro will add connections to the rest of the Altius family for businesses that want them.
What do I need to run it?
A WordPress website on ordinary web hosting. That's it. There's no special server to buy and no outside booking service to sign up for.
Do my customers need to create an account?
No. They choose a service and a time, enter their details and book. Their confirmation email includes links to add the appointment to their own calendar.
Does it work with Google Calendar?
Every confirmation includes one-click links for Google, Outlook and Apple Calendar, plus an .ics file. Deeper calendar connections come with Altius HQ and Scheduler Pro.
Can I use it for rentals instead of appointments?
Yes. Rental mode lets customers book equipment by the morning, afternoon, day, weekend, week or month.
