Good questions we hear a lot
Do I have to use every module?
No. Most businesses start with customers, quotes and invoices, then add Finance, the Scheduler, the Client Portal or Workspace when they're ready. Every module you add shares the same data, so nothing has to be set up twice.
Does Finance replace my accounting software?
For many small businesses, yes. It's real double-entry bookkeeping with the standard reports your accountant expects: profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance, aging and sales tax. Reports export cleanly, so your accountant can work with them in the tools they already use.
Who is Altius HQ for?
Small and growing businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and a pile of separate subscriptions: service companies, trades, professional practices, and teams from a few people to a few dozen who want one clear picture of the business.
How much does it cost?

Where does my data live?
On your own website, in its own database, hosted by us as part of the subscription. There's no server for you to buy or look after. The data isn't rented back to you, and it goes wherever your business goes.
Does it work with Google Calendar and Outlook?
Yes. Every appointment and meeting email has one-click buttons to add it to Google Calendar, Outlook.com or Microsoft 365, plus a calendar file for Apple Calendar and desktop Outlook. If the time changes, a fresh email goes out so nobody's calendar shows the old slot.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. Open Altius HQ on your phone and it offers to install itself, putting the icon on your home screen with no app store involved. The phone app includes Scan a card, which turns business cards into contacts.
